The CGEF's involvement with the Commonwealth Consortium for Education (CCfE) and the Council for Education in the Commonwealth

The CGEF is a member of the Commonwealth Consortium for Education (CCfE) which was established by a group of education-related Commonwealth Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) to coordinate their efforts on behalf of Commonwealth education. 

The CCfE facilitates communications between ministries and official Commonwealth organisations such as the Commonwealth Secretariat, Commonwealth Foundation, Commonwealth of Learning, the Association of Commonwealth Universities and others.
